David Dellepiane (1866–1932) was a French painter and lithographer born in Genoa. He was known for his Art Nouveau travel posters, many of which were created for the Paris–Lyon–Méditerranée (PLM) railway. This “Grasse” poster, produced around 1900, was printed in Marseille by Moullot. It promoted travel to the town of Grasse, known for its perfume industry, and shows the influence of both Art Nouveau and Impressionism. The poster is valued today for its strong design and historical connection to early 20th-century tourism.
