    The Absolut advertising campaign began in 1981 and became one of the longest-running advertising campaigns in history. In 1992, the campaign was inducted into the American Marketing Association’s Marketing Hall of Fame. Over the years, Absolut collaborated with numerous artists and designers, including Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Helmut Lang.

    This poster reproduces Warhol’s well-known Absolut bottle image, characterized by bold color treatment and simplified graphic form.

    This example is from the first printing by Perrier. A later printing was produced by Lalande-Courbet in Vézère, France, which is not considered part of the original 1983 issue.
