Razzia (Gérard Courbouleix-Dénériaz) is a French poster artist best known for his elegant, Art Deco–inspired designs. Unlike many modern artists, he creates his works entirely from original paintings rather than digital compositions. His style combines bold graphic forms, refined color palettes, and a timeless sense of elegance. As a result, his posters often reflect themes such as fashion, travel, and luxury.
One of his earliest and most iconic fashion commissions is the “Prêt à Porter Féminin” poster. It was printed in 1981 by Graficaza in Paris. Designed to promote the Paris prêt-à-porter fashion week, the image features a striking female portrait with minimal, elegant lines. At the top, the word “PARIS” appears in bold, capturing the glamour and confidence of 1980s fashion.
The poster is an original stone lithograph or serigraph. It was printed on high-quality paper in a size typical of French fashion and advertising posters of the time.
