Created in 1995 by the Serbian-born French artist Vladimir Veličković, this striking poster was issued for the 26th Trophée Lancôme, the prestigious professional golf tournament held annually at the Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche near Paris. The Trophée Lancôme, founded in 1970, drew many of the world’s top players for more than three decades; the 1995 event was won by Scotsman Colin Montgomerie. Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche itself is one of France’s most renowned courses, known for its wooded fairways, classic layout, and long history of international players and visiting American presidents.
Veličković, a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, brought his characteristic dynamic energy and expressionist style to this design, capturing the motion and intensity of sport in bold, gestural form.

Created in 1996 by the French painter and illustrator Henri Cueco (1929–2017), this large and elegant golf poster was issued for the 27th Trophée Lancôme, one of France’s most prestigious professional golf tournaments.
