Issued circa 1950, the design features a woman in traditional costume presenting a holiday cake, tied to Zapparoli’s slogan “il migliore di Milano” (“the best in Milan”). Small-format offset lithograph printed in Italy, linen backed and well preserved. Larger versions of this design were printed in Milan by Grafiche A. Mariani around 1951–1952, while this example corresponds to the smaller promotional format.

Advertising poster for Socovel motorcycles, printed in Brussels in 1948. Socovel (Société pour l’étude et la construction de véhicules électriques) was a Belgian manufacturer best known in the 1940s for its electric motorcycles, developed during World War II when petrol was scarce. By the late 1940s, the company also promoted small petrol-powered machines as fuel supplies normalized. This lithograph poster was printed by Imprimerie Marci, Bruxelles and is professionally mounted on linen in excellent condition.

The CArnaval of NIce takes place every year and they do another poster each year. This one done by Beglia with the jester jumping in the show. Original printing on linen.
Carnaval de Nice was created by Jean Luc in 1950 for the celebrated annual carnival held in Nice, France. The event, one of the oldest and most famous carnivals in the world, is known for its elaborate parades, colorful floats, and lively street celebrations along the Promenade des Anglais.
The 1950 edition took place during the postwar revival of the carnival, when the city was re-establishing its cultural traditions and welcoming international visitors back to the French Riviera.
Printed by Imprimerie Meyerbeer in Nice using lithography, the poster captures the festive spirit of the Riviera’s signature winter event. This example has been mounted on linen for preservation and is in excellent “A” condition.
