Bernard Villemot (1911–1989) was one of the leading French poster artists of the postwar period. His simplified forms and bold use of color made his designs instantly recognizable. Villemot worked extensively with Perrier, Orangina, and Bally, producing some of the most enduring advertising images of the 20th century.
