Each year, the Mairie de Paris commissioned a well-known French artist to design the official poster for the city’s Mois de la Photo (Month of Photography). In 1994, the artist selected was Hervé Di Rosa, a leading figure of the Figuration Libre movement known for his vibrant, cartoon-inspired visual language.
This original poster was created for the 1994 edition of Mois de la Photo and printed for the Ville de Paris. The poster promoted one of Paris’s most important annual cultural events, dedicated to photography exhibitions held across the city.
