These festivals were important cultural events that brought together traditional jazz, modern jazz, and experimental performances within a summer concert setting.

Peter Klasen (b. 1935) is a German-born artist associated with the Nouveau Réalisme movement. His work frequently incorporates industrial and mechanical imagery, typography, and elements related to transportation and urban environments. This design reflects those themes within the context of European rail travel.
The painting of the same image has sold at Christie’s for £10,000. Original printing.
