Description
Poster designed by Van Dam for the Grand Prix de Vitesse Automobile, held at Reims, France, in 1950. The event took place at the Reims-Gueux circuit, which hosted major international races in the postwar period. This poster carries the title “Grand Prix de Vitesse Automobile – Reims” and includes Pastis 51 as a sponsor, a brand closely tied to French sporting promotions of the era.
This version was printed by Harfort, Paris, in a small format measuring approximately 16 x 24 inches (40 x 60 cm). It was issued in 1950 to promote the event and is professionally mounted on linen.
