Lac D’Annecy by Robert Falcucci on linen excellent
Robert Falcucci first did this poster for the owner of the restaurant pictured at the plage near the Imperial Palace Hotel. The PLM picked up the image and used it for traveling via Train Paris to Annecy so there are 2 versions. This is without the PLM logo. This poster was bought directly from the son of the owner of that restaurant who commissioned Robert Falcucci. The poster has a tear at the top that is unobtrusive so you need to put your nose up to the poster to see it. From 1 meter away you don’t see it.
Original 1970s edition of René Gruau’s celebrated design Le Rouge Baiser. First created in 1950 for the French cosmetics brand, the image has become one of Gruau’s most enduring works, with its striking silhouette of a woman in a red headscarf and bold lipstick. This later printing was produced in offset lithography at a smaller format (17.5 × 22 in) and has been professionally mounted on linen for preservation and display.
This example is in Excellent “A” condition, with rich color and well-preserved surfaces.

Lemans 1964 poster by Thivillier 24 heures du Mans
The 1964 24 Hours of Le Mans, held on June 20-21, continued the tradition of featuring the previous year’s winning cars on its promotional poster. The poster showcased the Ferrari 250 P, which secured victory in 1963. This practice of depicting the prior year’s winners was customary, as posters were printed before the current race results were known. The 1964 poster is considered rare and highly collectible.
In the 1964 race, Ferrari maintained its dominance. The North American Racing Team (NART), a privateer team, achieved an overall win with drivers Jean Guichet and Nino Vaccarella piloting a Ferrari 275 P. This victory underscored Ferrari’s continued success at Le Mans during the early 1960s.
The 1964 event was notable for intense competition between manufacturers, particularly Ferrari and Ford. Ford’s GT40 made its Le Mans debut, aiming to challenge Ferrari’s supremacy. However, mechanical issues plagued the GT40s, preventing them from finishing the race. Ferrari’s reliability and performance secured their position at the forefront of endurance racing during this period.
The 1964 Le Mans poster, featuring the victorious Ferrari 250 P from the previous year, serves as a historical artifact reflecting Ferrari’s era of dominance and the competitive spirit of endurance racing in the 1960s.
