This example is an original printing from 1965, not a later reproduction. The full sheet measures 25 3/4 x 19 1/8 inches (65.5 x 49 cm). It remains in very fine condition, with bright color and no visible damage to the image.

Original exhibition poster produced for the 1963 Galerie Maeght exhibition Georges Braque : papiers colles 1912–1914. The poster features a study by Braque and relates to his pioneering work in papier collé, a key development within early Cubism.
Georges Braque (1882–1963) was one of the principal figures in the development of Cubism, working closely with Pablo Picasso in the early 20th century. His introduction of collage elements into painting, particularly between 1912 and 1914, marked a significant moment in modern art, expanding the language of composition through the use of paper, texture, and layered imagery. Beyond Cubism, Braque continued a long and influential career focused largely on still life and spatial exploration.
Galerie Maeght played an important role in exhibiting major modern artists and was known for its strong program of twentieth-century painting, sculpture, and graphic works. This poster was issued in conjunction with the 1963 exhibition dedicated to Braque’s early collage work.

This series presented a selection of important poster designs printed by the Ricordi publishing house during the height of the Italian poster movement between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The portfolio gathered together small-format reproductions of these works and was distributed internationally in the early twentieth century.
Casa Ricordi of Milan, originally a music publisher closely associated with the Italian opera world, developed a major lithographic printing workshop in the late nineteenth century. Through its printing department the firm produced posters for music, theatre, and commercial clients and became a central force in the development of the Italian poster. The artists working with Ricordi helped define the Italian version of Art Nouveau, often referred to as Stile Liberty.
Leopoldo Metlicovitz (1868–1944) was one of the principal designers associated with Ricordi. His posters and illustrations are recognized for their elegant compositions and refined color work, and he contributed numerous designs for theatre, publishing, and advertising.

Colorful French advertising poster promoting Ghislaine viscose fabric described as “le tissu de demi-saison” (the fabric for mid-season wear). The design shows a stylish mother measuring a young girl for a dress, both wearing bright red garments, with a playful beach ball at their feet. The composition uses bold color blocks and lively mid-century illustration typical of French commercial graphics of the 1950s. Printed for Boussac fabrics, a major French textile manufacturer. The artist signed the work in the plate, though the signature is not clearly identifiable. Printed in Paris by Gaillard Imprimerie.

The design by Coco Masuda features a playful tropical scene with a mermaid playing a ukulele set against the colors of a sunset over the ocean. HOMAGE TO THE SQUARE — GALERIE MELKI PARIS — JOSEF ALBERS — 1973
Original exhibition poster produced for Galerie Melki in Paris, featuring Josef Albers’ celebrated Homage to the Square series. This example is the yellow color variation, reflecting Albers’ exploration of color relationships through nested square forms.
Josef Albers (1888–1976), a key figure of the Bauhaus, was known for his rigorous approach to color and form. This is the large-format 140 x 200 cm poster issued for the Italian release, promoting the film’s story of a professional boxer’s rise and moral decline. The poster is an original first printing from 1949. It is in B / B+ condition with restorations and light fold wear, but with excellent, strong colors and a good overall presentation for display.
