This original 1990 serigraph by French artist Razzia (Gérard Courbouleix-Dénériaz) depicts the Palace of Versailles in the artist’s distinctive graphic style. Printed by Graficaza, Paris, each impression was produced by the traditional serigraph process on Arches paper, known for its quality and permanence.
This example is an Artist’s Proof (Épreuve d’Artiste), designated E.A., and is hand-signed in pencil by the artist. Artist’s proofs were produced in limited numbers in addition to the numbered edition and were traditionally reserved for the artist and publisher.
