Advertising poster by Gino Boccasile for Zapparoli panettone, the Milanese cake company. Issued circa 1950, the design features a woman in traditional costume presenting a holiday cake, tied to Zapparoli’s slogan “il migliore di Milano” (“the best in Milan”). Small-format offset lithograph printed in Italy, linen backed and well preserved. Larger versions of this design were printed in Milan by Grafiche A. Mariani around 1951–1952, while this example corresponds to the smaller promotional format.

Description Poster by Gino Boccasile for Sestriere, the Alpine ski resort founded in the 1930s in Piedmont, Italy. The original Boccasile design dates to around 1950 and was later reissued for a 1978 event, with added text in the upper section of the poster to mark the occasion. This large-format offset lithograph was printed for the resort itself, mounted on linen, and is preserved in excellent condition.

René Gruau (1909–2004), born Count Renato Zavagli Ricciardelli della Caminate, was one of the most influential fashion illustrators of the 20th century. Gruau’s imagery distilled style and sophistication into single striking forms, shaping the visual language of fashion illustration for decades.
