The design shows a view toward the Basilica of San Vitale, one of Ravenna’s most important monuments, celebrated for its Byzantine mosaics.
Printed in lithography, the poster reflects the interwar period’s focus on highlighting Italy’s regional cultural heritage. This example has been mounted on linen for preservation and is in excellent condition.

Original 1926 travel poster for Cattolica, a seaside resort on the Adriatic coast near San Marino. Designed by Livio Apollini and printed by Novissima in Rome, the poster depicts a lively beachfront with rows of bungalows connected by walkways across the sand in classic Italian style. A distinctive “boat-tail” automobile is shown arriving at one of the beach houses, situating the scene firmly in the leisure culture of the 1920s.
