Vintage Italian travel posters are the rarest to find because during the course of the second world war many were lost and they were not as collected and kept as were the French travel posters. Sestrieres – Gino Boccasile, 27 x 39 in (1978 Reissue)
Description Poster by Gino Boccasile for Sestriere, the Alpine ski resort founded in the 1930s in Piedmont, Italy. The original Boccasile design dates to around 1950 and was later reissued for a 1978 event, with added text in the upper section of the poster to mark the occasion. This large-format offset lithograph was printed for the resort itself, mounted on linen, and is preserved in excellent condition.

René Gruau – Rimini Sun Girl, 2000 Original Italian Adriatic Beach Travel Poster
Original offset lithograph poster by René Gruau, created for the city of Rimini to promote the Adriatic resort. Gruau designed two different posters for Rimini; this example, commonly known as the “Rimini Sun Girl,” presents a stylized female figure embodying the summer atmosphere of the seaside destination.
