Rare Cappiello poster for Automobiles Charron a stone lithograph done at Vercasson IMprimerie in 1906. The Elegant leday is being chauffered in a style similar to coaches by horse drawn carriage. Selling to Elegant customers the passenger rides in a separate compartement. Poster is in excellent condition on linen
Description
Poster designed by Van Dam for the Grand Prix de Vitesse Automobile, held at Reims, France, in 1950. The event took place at the Reims-Gueux circuit, which hosted major international races in the postwar period. This poster carries the title “Grand Prix de Vitesse Automobile – Reims” and includes Pastis 51 as a sponsor, a brand closely tied to French sporting promotions of the era.
