Statendam by A.M. Cassandre, officially reprinted in 1995 by the Bibliothèque nationale de Paris. This edition was produced directly by the museum from the 1929 original design, one of Cassandre’s most celebrated ocean liner posters.
The printing was carried out as a limited museum edition using lithographic techniques on heavy stock paper, authorized and distributed exclusively by the Bibliothèque nationale. This example comes directly from the Bibliothèque nationale and is an authentic official issue, not a reproduction or unauthorized copy.
Unlined and preserved in excellent condition.

Compagnie de Navigation Mixte – Algérie Tunisie (1949)

A striking postwar travel poster issued by the Compagnie de Navigation Mixte to promote passenger service to North Africa. Designed by Langellon F. and dated 1949, the composition features a graphic array of maritime flags, including the red-and-white pennant of the Navigation Mixte, set against a sky-blue background. The caption—“Vous qui partez en Algérie et en Tunisie, passez sous le pavillon de la Navigation Mixte”—invites travelers bound for Algeria and Tunisia to sail under the company’s trusted flag.
