Ameriques en Bal au Zenith 1995 original serigraph by Razzia small South American Music
$ 350Les Amériques en Bal – Razzia – 1995 – Event in Paris for South American Performers
This original poster was created by French artist Razzia (Gérard Courbouleix-Dénériaz) for Les Amériques en Bal, a Latin American and Caribbean music event held at the Zénith in Paris on April 11, 1995. The program brought together performers from Brazil, the Caribbean and Latin music, including Jorge Ben Jor, Kali, Ralph Thamar, Nicky Marrero and Chocolate.
Razzia’s colorful composition centers on a stylized map of Central and South America surrounded by dancers, capturing the music and energy of the event. The poster also bears the names of Radio Nova, Télérama, Quartiers Latins and the French Ministry of Culture. Tickets for the event were advertised at 120 francs and sold through FNAC, Virgin Megastore and other ticket outlets.
This is the original 1995 first-edition serigraph, not one of the later digital printings of Razzia’s work. Measuring 20 × 30 inches (51 × 76 cm), it remains in excellent “A” condition.
