Jungfrau by Henri Ganier de Taconville, c. 1900

Henri Ganier de Taconville created La Jungfrau around 1900. Courmont Frères in Paris printed this lithographic travel poster, promoting Switzerland’s Jungfrau region. The text includes La Jungfrau, P.L.M., and Billets à Prix Réduits, highlighting discounted travel fares.

Taconville (1845–1936) specialized in travel posters, often working with Courmont Frères. His detailed artwork helped attract tourists in the early 20th century. Courmont Frères, a respected Parisian printing company, produced high-quality lithographic posters for travel and cultural events.
