Cinémathèque (Museum of the Poster Paris) Razzia 1983
Poster Cinémathèque by Razzia (Gérard Courbouleix-Dénériaz), created in 1983 and printed in Paris by the Musée de l’Affiche as a fine art serigraph. The design was issued in recognition of the Cinémathèque Française, one of the world’s leading film archives and cultural institutions devoted to preserving and exhibiting the history of cinema.
Razzia (b. 1950) is regarded as the last contemporary poster artist to consistently use traditional lithographic and serigraphic printing methods. Known for his bold compositions and strong graphic language, he produced iconic posters for luxury brands, cultural events, and exhibitions, continuing the French tradition established by earlier masters of the affiche.
This serigraph measures 24 × 32 in. (61 × 81 cm) and remains in excellent “A” condition. The poster carries Razzia’s printed signature within the design.
