Original 1938 advertisement for Luxardo Zara, the Italian liqueur company known for its Maraschino and cherry brandies. Designed by Armando Pomi, this lithographic poster reflects the style of late-1930s Italian commercial art, a period when illustrated posters were the main form of brand communication. The poster puts both types of Brandy offered by Luxardo “In the Spotlight”.

The image was created to promote Luxardo’s products produced in Zara (Dalmatia) before the company relocated to northern Italy after World War II. It remains an authentic document of Italian advertising history and of one of the country’s oldest liqueur producers.
