Georges Redon (1869–1943) was a French artist known for his posters, illustrations, and humorous prints. He worked in Paris and often depicted café life, children, and animals. His style was influenced by Art Nouveau. Redon began his career in the 1890s and opened a lithography studio in Montmartre. He made posters for famous Paris cafés and illustrated magazines like Le Rire. During World War I, he served in a camouflage unit. After the war, he focused on nostalgic scenes and children’s books. In 1939, he was awarded the Legion of Honor. He died in Paris in 1943.
