Razzia (Gérard Courbouleix-Dénériaz) is a French poster artist best known for his elegant, Art Deco–inspired designs. Unlike many modern artists, he creates his works entirely from original paintings rather than digital compositions. His style combines bold graphic forms, refined color palettes, and a timeless sense of elegance. As a result, his posters often reflect themes such as fashion, travel, and luxury.
One of his earliest and most iconic fashion commissions is the “Prêt à Porter Féminin” poster. It was printed in 1981 by Graficaza in Paris. Designed to promote the Paris prêt-à-porter fashion week, the image features a striking female portrait with minimal, elegant lines. At the top, the word “PARIS” appears in bold, capturing the glamour and confidence of 1980s fashion.
The poster is an original stone lithograph or serigraph. It was printed on high-quality paper in a size typical of French fashion and advertising posters of the time.

Images Internationales pour les Droits de l’Homme et du Citoyen – Raymond Savignac (1989)
This original 1989 poster by Raymond Savignac (1907–2002) was created for Images Internationales pour les Droits de l’Homme et du Citoyen, an international series commissioned to celebrate the bicentennial of the 1789 Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. The project invited leading artists from around the world to interpret the theme of human rights through contemporary visual design.
Printed in Paris by Artis 89, Savignac’s contribution to the series shows a stylized figure—resembling Marianne, the emblem of the French Republic—wearing the red Phrygian cap of liberty and flying through the clouds in the shape of a dove. The image wittily merges the symbols of the French Revolution with the universal ideals of freedom and peace.
A fine example of Savignac’s hallmark simplicity and humor, this poster embodies both historical reflection and the optimism of late 20th-century graphic art.
