    In 1990, Dutch artist Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo, known as Corneille (1922–2010), created this poster for Mois de la Photo à Paris, the city’s biennial photography festival held each November since 1980. Corneille was a co-founder of the influential CoBrA movement (1948–1951), which championed a bold, expressive, and experimental approach to art. His work is celebrated for its vivid colors, abstracted forms, and recurring motifs of birds, women, and landscapes.

    This poster, printed in serigraph (silkscreen) by Seri Poinçon, Alençon, measures 16 x 24 inches (40 x 60 cm) and features Corneille’s signature style, incorporating a stylized blue bird and camera to reflect the festival’s photographic theme.
