Peter Klasen (b. 1935) is a German-born artist associated with the Nouveau Réalisme movement. His work frequently incorporates industrial and mechanical imagery, typography, and elements related to transportation and urban environments. This design reflects those themes within the context of European rail travel.
The painting of the same image has sold at Christie’s for £10,000. Original printing.

Mois de la Photo à Paris – Guillaume Corneille – 1990 – Original Serigraph on Linen
In 1990, Dutch artist Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo, known as Corneille (1922–2010), created this poster for Mois de la Photo à Paris, the city’s biennial photography festival held each November since 1980. Corneille was a co-founder of the influential CoBrA movement (1948–1951), which championed a bold, expressive, and experimental approach to art. His work is celebrated for its vivid colors, abstracted forms, and recurring motifs of birds, women, and landscapes.
