About the Artist
Born in Kyoto, Japan, in 1944, Aki Kuroda is a celebrated contemporary artist. He blends Eastern and Western artistic traditions in his work, which spans painting, printmaking, performance, and installation. Since the 1970s, he has been active in the Parisian art scene, regularly exhibiting worldwide. His signature style explores themes of passage, movement, and labyrinths, which add depth to his compositions.
