The 1950 edition took place during the postwar revival of the carnival, when the city was re-establishing its cultural traditions and welcoming international visitors back to the French Riviera.
Printed by Imprimerie Meyerbeer in Nice using lithography, the poster captures the festive spirit of the Riviera’s signature winter event. This example has been mounted on linen for preservation and is in excellent “A” condition.
