This poster was printed in Lyon which was a couple of hours from where Terrot Cycle company was location in the City of Lyon. They manufactured bicycles and Motorcylces as shown in the poster with the lady in thebackround on a bicycle and the dapper fellow in the forground is looking at a Map from 1922 to get to his destination. Dressed in a 3 piece suit and fancy leather shoes, his Terrot Motorcycle was state of the Art of the time. Springer front End and footrests all the comforts. Even with the slight red bleed the poster is super stuff and you wont find another anytime soon. It is very RARE !!

Advertising poster for Socovel motorcycles, printed in Brussels in 1948. Socovel (Société pour l’étude et la construction de véhicules électriques) was a Belgian manufacturer best known in the 1940s for its electric motorcycles, developed during World War II when petrol was scarce. By the late 1940s, the company also promoted small petrol-powered machines as fuel supplies normalized. This lithograph poster was printed by Imprimerie Marci, Bruxelles and is professionally mounted on linen in excellent condition.
