Advertising poster by Gino Boccasile for Paglieri, the Alessandria-based perfume and cosmetics company. Paglieri is especially known for its Felce Azzurra line and its talcum powders. This small-format design, attributed to around 1950, promotes Talco Paglieri “al boro timo”, showing a baby happily using the product. Issued as an offset lithograph and printed by Zannini & Cellerino, Alessandria, the poster is linen backed and preserved in excellent condition.

Description
Advertising poster by Gino Boccasile for Irradio television, issued in 1957. The design carries the caption “La visione che incanta” (“The vision that enchants”) and depicts a mermaid discovering a television set at the bottom of the sea. This phrase extended the earlier company slogan “La voce che incanta” (“The voice that enchants”) used for radios, highlighting Irradio’s transition from radio to television production.
Irradio, founded in the 1930s as International Radio in Milan, was one of the pioneering Italian firms in consumer electronics. By the mid-1950s, the company entered the television market, promoting relatively affordable models with striking advertising campaigns. This small-format poster reflects that expansion, linking the brand’s identity with enchantment, sound, and now vision.

Small Italian point of purchase advertising display promoting Radino olive oil. The design by Gino Boccasile shows a smiling woman pouring olive oil over a bowl of salad, rendered in the bright colors and lively graphic style typical of Italian commercial illustration of the period. Boccasile (1901–1952) was a well known Italian illustrator and poster artist who produced advertising imagery, posters, and magazine illustrations for a wide range of Italian companies.
Printed in Milan on heavy card stock, this display piece was intended to hang in shops or window displays where the product was sold. A small string at the top allowed the carton to be suspended as a point of purchase advertisement. Radino olive oil continues to be produced today and the image created by Boccasile remains associated with the brand.
