Starring Kirk Douglas as Ulysses and Silvana Mangano in the unforgettable dual roles of Penelope and Circe, the film was produced by Dino De Laurentiis and Carlo Ponti and directed by Mario Camerini. One of the earliest and most celebrated cinematic interpretations of The Odyssey, Ulisse became an international success and helped establish the great cycle of Italian epic films.
This magnificent first-release poster features outstanding artwork by C. Longhi and was printed in Rome by the renowned Vecchioni & Guadagno in 1954.
