Beautiful view on to Fontainebleau done in lithography at the Lucien Serre Imprimerie in Paris circa 1930. Lucien Serre was perhaps the most used printers for the Paris Lyon Mediterrannee Railways system during this period. Also Julien Lacaze did many posters for the PLM. Poster is in absolute excellent condition.

Poster printed for the Chemins de Fer Paris Lyon Mediterrannee circa 1930 with artwork by James Richard. Poster measures 24 x 39 inches and is in A condition and mounted on linen. Menton is found along the Cote D’Azur between Monte Carlo and Italy. Beautiful and rare poster for one of the premiere destinations in the French Riviera. This is an authentic original printing in lithography from the period by Lucien Serre Printers in Paris who did most of the PLM posters of the period.

CommentsBeautiful poster by Lucien Pillot for the PLM . The Paris Lyon Mediterrannee railways line was active from the late 1890’s up until 1937 when it became known as SNCF as it is today. This poster done in an art deco fashion showing the station where people went to get cures and drink the waters. It says for Women and Children. Its in excellent A condition on linen
Original poster for the 1982 French Open at Roland Garros designed by Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon. Roland Garros is renowned for commissioning important contemporary artists to create the official artwork for each year’s tournament, and Folon’s poetic and atmospheric composition is among the most recognized in the series. Best known for his painting, watercolor, and illustration work, Folon created an elegant image capturing the spirit of the Paris tournament.
The 1982 French Open was held at Stade Roland Garros in Paris and marked the 86th staging of the tournament. Mats Wilander and Martina Navratilova won the men’s and women’s singles titles respectively. Published by Maeght Éditeur in Paris.

Razzia (Gerard Courbouleix-Dénériaz) created this striking design in 1984 for Roland Garros, home of the French Open tennis championships. Printed in Paris by Caza using the serigraph technique, the poster features Razzia’s distinctive graphic style—clean lines, bold color fields, and a sophisticated sense of composition.
This original edition is printed on heavy stock paper, unlined, and remains in excellent condition. Measuring 24 x 32 inches (61 x 81 cm), it represents one of the earlier examples of Razzia’s long-running collaboration with French luxury and sporting institutions.
