Rare and Iconic poster by Cappiello done for Thermogene. Poster in excellent condition. Thermogene was a successful product sold from 1906 up until 1960’s and always used Cappiello’s design.
The Thermogene poster by Leonetto Cappiello is a classic example of early 20th-century advertising. Bernard Villemot (1911–1989) was one of the leading French poster artists of the postwar period. His simplified forms and bold use of color made his designs instantly recognizable. Villemot worked extensively with Perrier, Orangina, and Bally, producing some of the most enduring advertising images of the 20th century. Bally Kick represents his late work for the Swiss shoe company.

By the mid-1950s, the company entered the television market, promoting relatively affordable models with striking advertising campaigns.
