Francis Bacon created this striking poster for the 1992 Feria de Nîmes, the city’s famous bullfighting festival. The design draws inspiration from his 1969 painting Study for Bullfight No. 1. This captures the intense energy and movement of a bullfight in his signature style.
Caza Imprimerie in Paris printed this original serigraph on linen in 1992. Carnaval de Nice was created by Jean Luc in 1950 for the celebrated annual carnival held in Nice, France. The event, one of the oldest and most famous carnivals in the world, is known for its elaborate parades, colorful floats, and lively street celebrations along the Promenade des Anglais.
The 1950 edition took place during the postwar revival of the carnival, when the city was re-establishing its cultural traditions and welcoming international visitors back to the French Riviera.
Printed by Imprimerie Meyerbeer in Nice using lithography, the poster captures the festive spirit of the Riviera’s signature winter event. This example has been mounted on linen for preservation and is in excellent “A” condition.

Poster for travel to NIce by Henri Matisse printed at the famous Mourlot IMprimerie by way of stone lithography. Excellent condition on linen. Its important to note that the Mourlot imprimerie did work for Picasso, Matisse, Chagall and many of the most famous Artists as they were the only stone lithographers in the 20th century in France up until the 1970’s.

You could travel in luxury on wagon lits meaning beds in a cabin. Known as the Route to Egypt in the poster. This rare poster was featured on the cover of an important collector journal for antiquities in France. In excellent condition.
