Les Arts by Jules Cheret poster for Les Affiches Illustrees were plates printed at the Chaix Imprimerie in 1896 that featured the most famous artist of the day. Cheret was a master printer and artist, but also inventor and created the first lithographs in Stone. This enabled him to make several passes of colors using a stone for each color. This typeof printing method would be too expensive today, but it is the most artistic way of printing. The plate is in excellent condition.

This original poster was produced for the 2003 exhibition “Super Warhol,” held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo from July 16 to August 31. Comments Original poster for an Exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo. The image is actually known as 40 Gold Marilyns.
Original color lithograph by Marie-Émile-René Ménard, published in L’Estampe Moderne around 1897. The composition shows an allegorical female figure symbolizing Autumn, standing in a landscape with trees and falling leaves. The treatment is typical of Ménard’s classical and idealized style, with soft tonal transitions and balanced color. Printed by Champenois in Paris and distributed by Masson & Piazza as part of the monthly portfolio L’Estampe Moderne (1897–99). French Loto – Mermaid Poster (1989) by Bernard Villemot
