This large-format serigraph poster was created by the French artist Razzia (Gérard Courbouleix-Dénériaz) in 1992for Louis Vuitton’s annual “Automobiles de Princes” car show, held in the Parc de Bagatelle in Paris. From 1989 through the late 1990s, Louis Vuitton sponsored this prestigious vintage automobile event, commissioning Razzia each year to produce a new image. His bold Art Deco–inspired designs gave the series a distinctive visual identity that has since become highly collectible.
The present example is the original 1992 serigraph printing, produced for Louis Vuitton at the time of the event — not a later reproduction. Printed in large format at 47 × 63 inches (120 × 160 cm), the poster is unlined and in excellent condition, showing the vibrant colors and graphic clarity typical of Razzia’s work.

The work captures Henri Boutet’s refined sensitivity to gesture and atmosphere—his reputation as “le peintre de la femme” (the painter of women) is evident in this quiet, expectant moment. Published in 1897 by Imprimerie Champenois in Paris, this print was issued by monthly subscription, four plates delivered by post to collectors throughout Europe. Each carried the embossed L’Estampe Moderne blind stamp and exemplified the high quality of French lithography at the close of the century.

Original color lithograph by Belgian artist Henri Berchmans, published in L’Estampe Moderne in 1898. The image shows a standing female nude with a satyr beside her, in a wooded or natural setting. The composition is balanced and finely drawn, typical of Berchmans’ academic style and interest in mythological themes. Printed by Champenois in Paris and distributed by Masson & Piazza as part of the monthly portfolio L’Estampe Moderne (1897–99). The sheet bears the embossed blindstamp “L’Estampe Moderne / E.M.” in the lower right margin and the artist’s printed signature within the image. A richly colored stone lithograph by Eugène Grasset, issued as Plate 174 in Les Maîtres de l’Affiche, the celebrated monthly series published by Jules Chéret at the Imprimerie Chaix in Paris between 1895 and 1900. Subscribers received four plates each month over five years, reproducing the most accomplished poster designs of the Belle Époque in reduced format. The complete series comprised 256 numbered plates created by the foremost artists of the day.
This plate portrays the legendary actress Sarah Bernhardt in her celebrated role as Jeanne d’Arc. Grasset, a major figure of the Art Nouveau movement, combines stylized design with spiritual dignity, expressing both Bernhardt’s theatrical power and the idealized purity of the saint.
